The Center for Deliberative Democracy, Civic Engagement, and Census information at Florida A&M University produces cutting edge research on public policy initiatives and voter behavior, provides voter survey services, and offers free civic education seminars to the public upon request.

  OUR MISSION

  
  The Center for Deliberative Democracy, Civic Engagement, and Census Information is located in the Department of History and Political Science at Florida A&M University. The CDCC conducts research about democracy, public opinion of voters, and public policy. The Center actively engages with the general public through civic educational workshops, voting drives, and public deliberations. Additionally, the center has been a part of U.S. Census Bureau’s Data Dissemination Network or the now Census Information Center, since August 2000. Since partnering with the Census Information Center, the CDCC has assisted with the planning and data collection of underrepresented communities in the Leon County, Florida area.
