Academic Coaching  

Academic coaches are support staff trained in evidence-based strategies to facilitate each session. The academic coach works to empower the student towards positive change and improved academic performance.

Counseling is a relationship between you and a trained professional where you can discuss concerns openly and clarify your thoughts and feelings.

Scholarships

Whether you're a college-bound high school student or already attending a college or university, Army ROTC has scholarships available. Scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit and grades, not financial need.

Tutoring Services

The FAMU 'USSC' Learning Centers work with student and professional tutors to provide 1-on-1 tutoring sessions, group study sessions, skills workshops, course content review sessions, and essay writing workshops.

  • Academic Appeal 

    The Academic Regulation Appeal Committee considers petitions from undergraduate students seeking exceptions to the academic regulations stated in the FAMU catalog. Appeal applications must be filed and considered prior to graduation.
